Admission Requirements
- No GRE scores are required
- A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in biological sciences, chemistry, natural science or forensic science is required for full admission.
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00 (on a 4-point scale) is required for full admission to the program. An undergraduate GPA of 2.75-2.99 may be considered for conditional admission. GPA calculations may be based upon the cumulative units or the last 60 units. See graduate admission policies for more information.
- All applicants must have completed two semesters of general chemistry, two semesters of organic chemistry, two semesters of general physics, and two semesters of general biology, all with laboratory components.
- Applicants wishing to pursue the Forensic Chemistry Track must have coursework in analytical chemistry or instrumental analysis.
- Applicants wishing to pursue the Forensic DNA Track must have coursework in statistics, biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics.
