  • A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a field other than nursing.
  • A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00 is required for full admission to the program. All GPA calculations for admission may be based upon the last 60 credits of undergraduate and post-baccalaureate study. See graduate admissions policies for more information and exceptions. 
  • Prerequisites: All prerequisites must be completed with a B (3.0) or higher. Applicants must have at least three prerequisite courses, including two lab sciences and one other course, completed by the application deadline in order for their application to be considered. Prerequisite statistics and science courses must be completed within the past five years. All other prerequisites must be completed by the start of the program. No more than two (2) repeated courses will be accepted.
    Human Anatomy and Physiology 1 (must include lab)
    Human Anatomy and Physiology 2 (must include lab)
    Microbiology (must include lab)
    General Chemistry 1 (must include lab)
    Developmental Psychology or Lifespan Development
    Basic Statistics
    Nutrition for Health Professionals
