MA in Epidemiology

Master's degree designed by competencies and aimed at people interested in learning or improving their performance in public health surveillance activities, epidemiological investigations, outbreak management, and health emergency preparation and care. The student is expected to acquire these skills under the premise of "learning by doing", under the supervision of an experienced researcher.
It is a regional program with representation from all the countries of Central America, the Dominican Republic and Haiti. The master's degree began at the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala in 2007.
