The high seismicity of Guatemala requires that structural engineering is in constant evolution and, therefore, the need arises to increasingly promote knowledge of issues related to the construction of optimized and resistant structures. The Postgraduate in Concrete Structures includes deep knowledge about the structures in a global way and about the behavior of prestressed concrete as a material and its application in infrastructure and hydraulic works.
OBJECTIVES
- To train professionals with skills in the behavior and design of reinforced and prestressed concrete structures, which can be applied using advanced computational tools for structural analysis and design.
- It meets the needs of the construction market by training professionals who can design solutions in reinforced and prestressed concrete.
- Develop agents of change that impact Guatemalan society with structural designs from a perspective of responsibility.

- Personal Identification Document (DPI)
- Candidates are required to submit references or letter(s) of recommendation for acceptance
