The term "non-verbal behavior" brings together the set of non-verbal behaviors that a human being can carry out in different situations of their daily life, whether they are habitual or exceptional. Understanding it and analyzing it in depth will be of great importance in a multitude of settings since, through this analysis, we will be able to infer aspects related to the emotional and rational states of the observed people, understanding at the same time the impact that our own behavior has on the others and about ourselves.

Deepening this knowledge is not easy, since at present an important part of the existing bibliography on non-verbal communication lacks rigor and scientific basis, plunging this discipline into a kind of esotericism that is far from reality.

Currently, there are countless studies, carried out by universities around the world, that address different aspects of non-verbal behavior with great seriousness and rigor. For its part, the detection of deception is an area that for some years has been occupying a space of interest within psychology, due to the great utility it has in different professional environments.

Currently, there are numerous universities dedicated to scientific research in this field, from which we can obtain rigorous content that allows us to use lie detection tools and truthfulness, which come from science and not from intuition or common sense.
