It favors the generation of jobs and the reduction of poverty in countries with emerging economies.  Undoubtedly the Pandemic affected tourism worldwide like no other event in history.
However, the recovery of tourism activity is on the way, and the key lies in sustainability to achieve greater resilience in the sector.
The Master's Degree in Sustainable Tourism meets the need for training professionals in the tourism sector, who can plan and manage tourism activities within the framework of sustainable tourism development. Admission Requirements

  • Letter of intent (one sheet), stating why you want to participate in this UVG master's degree.
  • Curriculum Vitae of the interested party.
  • Fill out UVGMASTERS admission form and attach color photograph.
  • Photocopy of both sides of the degree (Bachelor, BS or BA) or original letter of closing of pensum.
  • Photocopy of Personal Identification Document (DPI) if Guatemalan, or passport for non-resident foreigners.
  • Request a date for an interview with the director of the master's degree.
