This Community Education program prepares students to become educational expert who have academic and professional skills to plan, develop, and manage non formal education activities as well as have critical perspectives on education policy. The mission include: Organizing and developing learning and management in community education and community empowerment; Carry out research in the field of community education and community empowerment; Carry out community service through the laboratory as a center for scientific development and the development of community education and community empowerment; Improving the quality of information services, consultation, advocacy and training in capacity building for students and the community through an educational approach; Develop and foster the scientific profession of educators and public education education staff; Developing networks in increasing cooperation and partnerships in the field of public education and community empowerment locally, nationally and globally.
