Educational administration began with the Educational Administration Course which was given at the undergraduate level at the PTPG Department of Education in 1954. When PTPG joined UNPAD and became FKIP/A, Educational Administration Course made rapid progress thanks to the persistence of Prof. Suganda and Oteng Sutisna, M.Sc who were assisted by Prof.Dr. Murray Thomas as an expert from the Sunny Team. Educational Administration began in 1964 under the name of the Department of Administration and Supervision, abbreviated as ADSUP, within the Faculty of Education, IKIP Bandung. The birth of ADSUP was triggered by the emergence of demands for the need for experts in the field of education management and administration as well as demands for the need for teachers for SPG/SGO. Since then the ADSUP IKIP Bandung Department was officially opened through the Decree of the Minister of Higher Education and Science of the Republic of Indonesia, No. 128/1964 dated October 19, 1964. Several other figures who also helped foster this department, including Oteng Sutisna, M.Sc., R. Iyeng Wiraputra, M.Sc., Drs. Udi Turmudi Saputra and Drs. MI Sulaeman.body of knowledge, started at a lecturer meeting in June 1998 which agreed to change the name of Supervision Administration (ADSUP) to the Department of Educational Administration.
The name Education Administration is used today amidst the demands of some people who want a name change to "Education Management".
The current Education Administration accreditation rating is B with SK BAN PT Number 031/BAN-PT/Ak-XV/S1/X/2012 valid until 2017.
The main study of Education Administration is education management; educational planning; and supervision/supervision of education as well as the application of information and communication technology in educational management practices.

Admission Requirements

  1. SNMPTN is a national selection pattern based on the results of tracking academic achievements using report cards from semester 1 (one) to semester 5 (five) for SMA/SMK/MA or the equivalent with a study period of 3 (three) years or semester 1 (one) to semester 7 (seven) for SMK with a study period of 4 (four) years, as well as an academic portfolio.
  2. The School and Student Database (PDSS) is a database containing track records of school performance and student academic achievement.
  3. Schools whose students take SNMPTN must have a National School Identification Number (NPSN) and fill in student achievement data in the PDSS.
  4. Students who are eligible to take part in the selection are students who have a national Student Identification Number (NISN), have excellent achievements and a track record of academic achievement at PDSS.
  5. Students who will register for SNMPTN must read the information on the selected PTN page regarding the provisions related to new student admissions.
