VISION
The PGSD Study Program, Sumedang Campus, is to become an elementary school teacher education provider that is able to produce superior and quality graduates, and is able to develop innovative and recognized elementary school science at the ASEAN level by 2025.

MISSION

  1. Organizing elementary school teacher education to produce superior and quality graduates, who have competitive power and adaptive and innovative character.
  2. Developing innovative, superior and high-quality elementary school education science.
  3. Conducting research and community service to solve problems in the field of elementary schools in an innovative and collaborative manner.
  4. Developing cooperation in education, research and community service in the field of elementary schools at the local, regional, national and international levels.

OBJECTIVE

  1. Producing graduates who are able to improve their competence as elementary school educators so that they can continue their education to a higher level at reputable universities both at home and abroad.
  2. Producing educators at the elementary school level who are able to plan, implement, evaluate, and develop learning based on science, character, and innovation to improve the quality of education by having attitudes as good and responsible educators.
  3. Producing graduates who are capable of entrepreneurship and can realize  entrepreneurship  creatively in the field of management and development of design, media, teaching aids, learning models, and the organization of educational institutions and in other fields.
  4. Producing graduates who are skilled as novice researchers/research assistants and are able to solve educational problems and are able to produce proven innovations to improve the quality of education in elementary schools.
  5. Producing graduates who are competent as education practitioners so that they are able to manage, design, develop, and evaluate educational programs/activities in an adaptive and solution-oriented manner and have a good understanding of professional ethics.
  6. Producing products or research outputs that can be utilized by the wider community both at the national and international levels.
  7. Generating creative and innovative ideas to solve educational problems in society.
  8. Establish partnerships with various institutions or stakeholders to cooperate and collaborate in providing quality education both at home and abroad.
