This Chemistry Education program aims to prepare students to be educators, thinkers, researchers, developers, and practitioners of chemistry education. Students are expected to demonstrate mastery in chemistry and chemistry education as well as to be able to plan, research, and disseminate science and technology in chemistry-related field. The purpose include: Producing prospective chemistry teachers who have pedagogical competence, the field of chemistry, personality, and social sciences; Producing prospective chemistry teachers who are responsive and adaptive to developments in the fields of chemistry, technology, and chemistry education; Producing prospective chemistry teachers who are responsive and adaptive to social and environmental changes; Producing prospective chemistry teachers who have global communication skills and entrepreneurial spirit; Produce research work in the field of chemical education; Produce innovative works in the field of chemistry education that can be applied in learning at the college and school level.
