The Graduate Programme in Maritime Studies represents a distinctive continuation of maritime professional education at the global level, characterized by a strong integration of scientific research and professional practice.
The programme responds to the needs of the maritime industry and shipping companies for highly qualified personnel capable of managing modern vessels and complex technical and technological systems. It is oriented toward the development of advanced managerial competencies and leadership skills across various sectors of the economy, not limited to maritime affairs but extending to diverse scientific and professional fields. As such, it provides a solid foundation for successful entrepreneurship and strategic management.
Graduates are qualified for employment in institutions and companies engaged in maritime-related activities, as well as for the management and implementation of transport processes. The programme ensures international recognition of degrees and qualifications, comparability of the curriculum within the European Higher Education Area, and promotes the mobility of both students and academic staff.
The graduate (Master’s) programme in Maritime Studies lasts two years, comprising four semesters (120 ECTS credits).
