The programme in Yacht and Marina Technologies prepares students for careers in marina management, professional skippering, and yacht and boat charter operations. Students acquire specialized knowledge in the fields of maritime affairs, transport systems, and economics, enabling them to operate effectively within the nautical tourism and maritime services sectors.
Practical training is conducted in the laboratories of the University of Dubrovnik, aboard the training and research vessel Naše more (“Our Sea”), as well as on sailing yachts, motor yachts, and within marina facilities. This combination of academic instruction and hands-on experience ensures a strong integration of theoretical knowledge with professional practice. After completing the undergraduate programme, students may continue their education in the graduate (Master’s) programme in Maritime Studies. Upon completion of the graduate programme, they may pursue postgraduate university studies in Maritime Studies.
The undergraduate programme in Yacht and Marina Technologies lasts three years, comprising six semesters (180 ECTS credits).
