The programme provides students with knowledge in the field of applied and business computing and is aligned with the occupational standards and qualification requirements of the Croatian Qualifications Framework in the field of computing. The updated curriculum, harmonized with related higher education institutions (particularly within the European Union), follows current trends in the development of computer technology.


Students are introduced to methodologies and standards in software development, the design and construction of computer systems, computer networking, and the application of computing in various sectors of the economy. A wide range of elective courses allows students to tailor their studies to their individual interests and professional goals.

Practical training, an essential component of the programme, includes hands-on experience with operating systems, programming languages and tools, as well as databases and application software.


Upon completion of the university undergraduate programme, students may continue their studies at the graduate level.

The University Undergraduate Programme in Applied/Business Computing lasts three years, comprising six semesters (180 ECTS credits).
