This joint degree offers an in-depth knowledge of French language and culture while developing students’ ability as an analyst of international economic phenomena. Equal amount of focus is given to both field of study. The French component will extend students’ understanding of the language, literature, culture, society and politics of France and the Francophone world, whilst in Economics students will study the choices of consumers, corporations, governments, networks and nations, developing a deep knowledge of global and local economic trends, institutions and policies. Students will spend either the second or third year abroad.
