The department of Finance and Banking was established in 2004 under the faculty of Business Studies with the aim to take part in achieving the goal of economic development and industry growth. This departments aims to develop human resource that will possess financial knowledge with professionalism skill so that the finance industry get young and efficient professionals who will grow the industry with their efficiency in operations and innovation of the financial products. Finance and Banking department is currently providing fundamental and advanced courses on Finance, Financial Management, International trade, corporate finance, Social finance, financial project analysis CSR in undergraduate degree program. The department consists of 11 faculty members 1 of them is Professor, seven are Associate Professors, one Assistant Professor and two Lecturers. Faculty research areas include Rural and Micro Finance, Social Finance, Financial Risk Management, Bankruptcy, Big data in finance, Financial Applications of machine learning and Artificial intelligence, Data Mining, Green Finance and Sustainable Development, Fintech, Financial Inclusion.
