The field of professional activity of bachelors of training direction 620100 Geodesy and Remote Sensing includes: obtaining of measuring spatial information about the Earth's surface, its subsoil, objects of outer space, display of the Earth's surface or its separate territories on plans and maps; implementation of coordinate and time reference of objects, phenomena and processes on the Earth's surface and in the surrounding space, creation of digital terrain models; organization and implementation of works on collection and dissemination of geospatial data both on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic as a whole and on its separate regions in order to develop their infrastructure.
The objects of professional activity of graduates of training direction 620100 Geodesy and Remote Sensing are: the surface of the Earth, the shape of the planet; territorial and administrative formations; industrial, civil buildings, roads, hydraulic engineering, environmental protection and other artificial structures; artificial and natural objects on the surface and inside the Earth and other planets; geodynamic phenomena and processes; gravitational, electromagnetic and other physical fields.
Bachelor of Geodesy and Remote Sensing is prepared for the following types of professional activities: production and technological; design and survey; organizational and managerial. Specific types of professional activities, for which the graduate is mainly prepared, should determine the content of his/her educational program, developed by the university in cooperation with interested employers.
Graduates of "Bachelor" level of training direction 620100 Geodesy and Remote Sensing solve the following professional tasks in accordance with the types of professional activities: production and technological: - Creation and development of State geodetic, leveling, gravimetric networks and special purpose networks; topographic-geodesic support of mapping and cadaster of the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic as a whole, its separate regions and areas by both ground and aerospace methods; acquisition, interpretation of aerospace and ground images, video information, creation and updating of topographic maps based on the materials of aerospace and space surveys; performance of specialized engineering-geodetic and photogrammetric works during surveys, design, construction and operation of engineering objects of various purposes (including objects of transport infrastructure and hydraulic engineering construction); performance of mathematical processing of the results of field geodetic measurements, astronomical observations, gravimetric determinations, photogrammetric measurements; obtaining ground and aerospace spatial information on the state of the environment when studying natural resources using geodesy and remote sensing methods. Design and surveying: - planning and production of topographic-geodetic and aerial surveying works in the construction objects and studying natural resources; collection, systematization and analysis of scientific reserch-technical information on the task (topic); development of design and technical documentation in the field of geodesy and remote sensing; implementation of developed technical solutions and projects.
Organizational and managerial: - Development of normative and technical documentation for the performance of topographic-geodetic and aerial surveying works, engineering-geodetic surveys, development of technically justified performance standards; carrying out field and desk topographic-geodetic and aerial surveying works; metrological certification of geodetic, aerial surveying and photogrammetric equipment; analysis and control of obtained geodetic, satellite and photogrammetric measurements; preparation of data for drawing up plans and estimate documentation; development of measures and organization of control to ensure safety rules during topographic-geodesic and aerial surveying works.
Graduates of higher education institutions who have fully mastered the basic educational program of higher professional education on Bachelor's training and successfully passed the State final attestation in the prescribed manner, are awarded a diploma of higher education with the academic degree "Bachelor".
The normative term of mastering the basic educational program of higher professional education of Bachelor's degree in the direction of training 620100 Geodesy and Remote Sensing on the basis of secondary general or secondary vocational education in full-time education is not less than 4 years, which corresponds to at least 240 credits.

Selection and enrollment of applicants - citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and citizens of foreign countries at KNAU named after K.I. Skryabin for training in educational programs of higher professional education is carried out twice a year: in summer and winter periods.
Winter admission to the university for places under contracts with the payment of tuition fees is held at the discretion of the university, for places left vacant after the summer admission.
Selection and enrollment of applicants - citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic on the results of G eneral R epublican T est and citizens of foreign countries on educational programs of higher professional education is carried out through internal entrance tests.
Education of citizens of foreign countries in higher education institutions is carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of education, on the basis of international agreements, which come into force in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as on the basis of agreements between educational organizations and with individual citizens. Agreements between HEIs and persons providing intermediary services in different countries of the world for the selection of foreign citizens in HEIs of the Kyrgyz Republic must be agreed with the authorized state body in the field of education and science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
