The area of professional activity of bachelors in the direction of training "Agronomy" includes: agronomic research and development aimed at solving complex problems on the organization and production of high-quality crop production in modern agriculture. Bachelor receives knowledge and mastering of methods, techniques and technologies of cultivation of agricultural crops.

The objects of professional activity of graduates in the direction of training "Agronomy" are: field, vegetable, fruit crops and their varieties, genetic collections of plants, breeding process, agronomic landscapes, natural forage lands, soil and reproduction of its fertility, pests and means of plant protection against them, technology of crop production.

Bachelor in the direction of training "Agronomy" is prepared for the following types of professional activities: - production and technological; - organizational and managerial; - research.

Bachelor in the direction of training "Agronomy" must solve the following professional tasks in accordance with the types of professional activities: production and technological activity: - establishing compliance of agrolandscape conditions to the requirements of agricultural crops in their placement on the territory of land use; justifying the choice of crop varieties for specific conditions of the region and the level of intensification of farming, preparing seeds for sowing; drawing up tillage, sowing and harvesting units and determining the schemes of their movement across the fields, carrying out technological adjustments; calculating the doses of organic and mineral fertilizers for the planned harvest, preparing and applying them to crops; organization of crop rotation system, their placement on the territory of land use of an agricultural enterprise and cutting of fields; adaptation of soil cultivation systems in crop rotations taking into account soil fertility, steepness and exposure of slopes, groundwater level, applied fertilizers and complex of tillage machines; sowing of crops and their care; refining the system of plant protection against pests and adverse weather phenomena; harvesting and primary processing of plant products and their storage; use of biotechnological developments in the practice of production of agricultural plants and products of its processing; implementation of technologies for improvement and rational use of natural fodder lands, preparation of coarse and succulent fodder; organization of work of the team of the subdivision of the agricultural enterprise for the production of crop production (participation in the preparation of prospective and operational plans, estimates, applications for consumables, schedules, instructions ); etc.

             Graduates of higher education institutions who have fully mastered the main educational program of higher professional education on Bachelor's training and successfully passed the state final attestation in the prescribed manner, are awarded a diploma of higher education with the academic degree of "Bachelor".

The normative term of mastering the basic educational program of higher professional education training of bachelors in the direction of "Agronomy" on the basis of secondary general or secondary vocational education in full-time education is not less than 4 years, which corresponds to at least 240 credits.

Master's programs at the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I. The duration of Master's program is 2 years. The educational process includes lectures, practical classes, laboratory work, as well as the completion and defense of a master's thesis. For admission to the master's program, the university conducts a competitive selection process based on the results of the final examination and the possession of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent education.

In accordance with the established schedules for admission tests, the acceptance of documents for those wishing to study begins from July 1 of each year until August 25.
For admission to the undergraduate level, you must provide a document of secondary education (11 years of schooling), an identity document, 6 photos measuring 3x4. Foreign citizens must present to the admission committee an education document equivalent to the state document on secondary general education or secondary vocational education of the Kyrgyz Republic. The examination of documents of foreign citizens is carried out by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. It is not allowed to enroll foreign citizens without providing a certificate of compliance with the level of educational content issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
You can work both during vacations and while studying. But you should remember that if you want to successfully complete your studies, your work should not interfere with your studies. In other words, you should not take a job that coincides with your studies.
The university has a student dormitory, which is provided to all needy students, the living conditions are good: there are rooms for showers, laundry rooms, rest rooms for independent studies.
