The field of professional activity of graduates in the direction of training "Hydraulic Engineering Construction" includes: solving complex problems related to the design, construction, operation and reconstruction of hydraulic structures and other facilities designed for accounting, collection, transportation and use of water and to protect the environment from the harmful effects of water elements; creation of integrated water management systems, protection and restoration of water bodies; water supply of rural settlements, sewage disposal and treatment, watering of territories; engineering support and equipment of construction projects; application of machinery, equipment and technologies for construction of water management facilities.
The objects of professional activity of graduates in the direction of training "Hydraulic engineering construction" are: hydraulic, environmental and other water structures; construction materials and structures; water management systems of complex purpose and environmental facilities; machinery, equipment, technological complexes and automation systems used in the construction of structures, roads and production of building materials and structures.
Bachelor's degree in "Hydraulic engineering construction" prepares for the following types of professional activity: design and survey; production and technological; organizational and managerial; research. Specific types of professional activities, for which, mainly, the graduate is prepared, should determine the content of his educational program, developed by the university on the basis of the relevant professional standard (if available) or in conjunction with interested employers.
Bachelor in the direction of training "Hydraulic Engineering Construction" should solve the following professional tasks in accordance with the types of professional activities: survey and design and engineering activities: collection and systematization of information and source data for the design of hydraulic structures and other water management facilities; calculation and design of building structures of structures, their structural elements, units using standard design automation tools; preparation of design and working technical documentation, execution of completed design and engineering works; ensuring compliance of developed projects and technical documentation with the assignment, standards, norms and rules, technical conditions and other executive documents.
In production and technological and organizational and managerial activities: organization of workplaces, their technical equipment, placement of technological equipment, control over compliance with the technological process, maintenance of technological equipment and machinery; organization of metrological support of technological processes, use of standard methods of quality control, standardization and certification of construction, operation and reconstruction; participation in works on finalization and mastering of technological processes in the course of preparation of construction, operation, reconstruction of structures, production of building materials and structures.
Research and development activities: participation in solving individual research and scientific-applied tasks on the development of new methods and technologies in the field of water construction, water use and watering, on the assessment of the impact of water management facilities on the environment.
Graduates of higher education institutions who have fully mastered the main educational program of higher professional education on Bachelor's training and successfully passed the state final attestation in the prescribed manner, are awarded a diploma of higher education with the academic degree of "Bachelor".
The normative term of mastering the basic educational program of higher professional education training of bachelors in the direction of "Hydraulic Engineering Construction" on the basis of secondary general or secondary vocational education in full-time education is not less than 4 years, which corresponds to at least 240 credits.

Selection and enrollment of applicants - citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and citizens of foreign countries at KNAU named after K.I. Skryabin for training in educational programs of higher professional education is carried out twice a year: in summer and winter periods.
Winter admission to the university for places under contracts with the payment of tuition fees is held at the discretion of the university, for places left vacant after the summer admission.
Selection and enrollment of applicants - citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic on the results of G eneral R epublican T est and citizens of foreign countries on educational programs of higher professional education is carried out through internal entrance tests.
Education of citizens of foreign countries in higher education institutions is carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of education, on the basis of international agreements, which come into force in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as on the basis of agreements between educational organizations and with individual citizens. Agreements between HEIs and persons providing intermediary services in different countries of the world for the selection of foreign citizens in HEIs of the Kyrgyz Republic must be agreed with the authorized state body in the field of education and science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
