The field of professional activity of graduates in the direction of training "Hydraulic engineering construction" of masters includes: solving complex problems associated with the design, construction, operation and reconstruction of hydraulic structures and other facilities designed for accounting, collection, transportation and use of water and for the protection of the environment from the harmful effects of water elements; creation of water management systems of complex purpose, protection and restoration of water bodies; engineering support and equipment of water management systems, water protection and protection of the environment, water management systems and other water-related facilities.

The objects of professional activity of master's graduates in the direction of training "Hydraulic engineering construction" are: hydraulic, environmental and other water structures; construction materials and structures; water management systems of complex purpose and environmental objects; machinery, equipment, technological complexes and automation systems used in the construction of water structures; educational organizations of secondary and higher professional education.

Master's degree in "Hydraulic Engineering Construction" is prepared for the following types of professional activities: innovation, research and design and calculation; production and technological; research and teaching; project management; professional expertise and normative and methodological.

Specific types of professional activities, for which, mainly, the graduate is prepared, should determine the content of his educational program, developed by the university on the basis of the relevant professional standard (if available) or in conjunction with interested employers.

Master's degree in the direction of training "Hydraulic engineering construction" should solve the following professional tasks in accordance with the types of professional activities: innovation, survey and design and calculation activities: collection, systematization and analysis of information source data for the design of water structures, engineering systems and equipment; feasibility study and adoption of design decisions as a whole for the object, coordination of work on parts of the project, design of parts and structures; development of the design of water structures, engineering systems and equipment development of innovative technologies, structures and systems, including with the use of scientific achievements; control of compliance of the developed projects and technical documentation with the design task, standards, construction norms and rules, technical conditions and other executive documents; conducting author's supervision over the project realization.  Production-technological activity: organization and improvement of the production process at the enterprise or site, control over compliance with the technological process; improvement and development of new technological processes of construction, production and construction structures; development and improvement of methods of quality control of construction, organization of metrological support of technological processes; development of documentation and organization of work on quality management of technological processes at the production site; development of documentation and organization of work on quality management of technological processes at the production site.

Research and teaching activities: study and analysis of scientific and technical information, domestic and foreign experience in the field of activity; formulation of scientific and technical problem, selection of methods, ways and means of its solution, preparation of data for reviews, reports, scientific and other publications; mathematical modeling of processes in structures and systems, computer methods of model realization, development of calculation methods and means of design automation; setting and carrying out experiments, metrologist. Project management activities: preparation of initial data, technical and economic analysis, justification and selection of scientific, technical and organizational solutions for project implementation; planning of work and personnel remuneration funds; development and execution of technical documentation (work schedules, instructions, plans, estimates, requests for materials, equipment), as well as reporting on the established forms; performance of standardization and preparation for certification of technical means, systems, processes, equipment and materials; Professional expertise and normative and methodological activities: technical expertise of projects and construction objects; assessment of technical condition of structures, their parts and engineering equipment, development of expert opinions; assessment of the quality of raw materials used and quality control of works; development of design tasks, technical specifications, standards, instructions for the use of means, technologies and equipment.

  Graduates of higher education institutions, who have fully mastered the basic educational program of higher professional education on Master's degree and successfully passed the state final certification in the prescribed manner, are awarded a diploma of higher education with the academic degree "Master". 

The normative term of mastering the basic educational program of higher professional education training of Master students in the direction of "Hydraulic Engineering Construction" on the basis of higher professional education, confirmed by the award of the qualification "Bachelor", is not less than 120 credits.

The Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I. Skryabin (KNAU) is the leading agrarian educational institution in Kyrgyzstan. The University was founded in 1933 and is located in Bishkek.

Master's programs at the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I.
