The field of professional activity of graduates in the direction of training "Electric power engineering and electrical engineering" includes: a set of technical means, ways and methods of human activity for the production, transmission, distribution, conversion, application of electrical energy, management of energy flows, development and manufacture of elements, devices and systems that realize these processes.
Graduates may carry out professional activities in other fields and (or) spheres of professional activity, provided that the level of their education and acquired competencies correspond to the requirements for the qualification of an employee.
The objects of professional activity of graduates in the direction of training "Electric power engineering and electrical engineering" are: electric power stations and substations; electric power systems and networks; power supply systems of engineering objects and industries; electrophysical and technological installations of high voltage; automatic control and relay protection devices in the electric power industry; power plants and complexes based on non-conventional and renewable energy sources; electric machines, transformers, etc. Bachelor of Electrical Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering is prepared for the following types of professional activities: - design and engineering; production and technological; organizational and managerial; research; installation and adjustment; service and operational.
Tasks of professional activity of graduates
a) Design and engineering activity: collection and analysis of data for design; calculation and design of technical objects in accordance with the technical assignment using standard design automation tools; development of design and working technical documentation, registration of design and engineering works.
b) Production and technological activity: organization of workplaces, their technical equipment, placement of technological equipment; control over compliance with technological discipline; maintenance of technological equipment; organization of metrological support of technological processes, use of standard methods of product quality control.
c) Organizational and managerial activity: preparation of organizational documentation, as well as the established reporting on the approved forms; work on standardization and preparation for certification of technical means, systems, processes, equipment and materials.
d) Research and development activities: study of scientific and technical information, domestic and foreign experience on the subject of research; mathematical modeling of processes and objects on the basis of standard packages of application programs for computer-aided design and research.
e) Installation and adjustment activity: installation, adjustment and testing of electric power and electrical equipment.
f) Maintenance and operation activity: checking the technical condition and residual life of electric power and electrical equipment, organization of preventive inspections and current repairs.
The normative term of mastering the basic educational program of higher professional education of Bachelor's degree in the direction of "Electric power and electrical engineering" on the basis of secondary general or secondary vocational education in full-time education is not less than 4 years, which corresponds to at least 240 credits.

The Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I. Skryabin (KNAU) is the leading agrarian educational institution in Kyrgyzstan. The University was founded in 1933 and is located in Bishkek.

Master's programs at the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I. Skryabin (KNAU) offer students the opportunity to gain deeper knowledge and skills in agriculture, engineering, land management, water resources management, agronomy, ecology, agro-processing, economics and other related fields.
The duration of Master's program is 2 years. The educational process includes lectures, practical classes, laboratory work, as well as the completion and defense of a master's thesis. Students can also participate in research and practical projects conducted by university professors and scientists.
For admission to the master's program, the university conducts a competitive selection process based on the results of the final examination and the possession of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent education.
KNAU provides an opportunity for master's students to study on budget and contract forms of education. The University also offers various exchange and internship programs that allow students to expand their knowledge and experience outside the University in foreign partner universities.
