Participants explore how Italian manufacturing is exemplary in its identification and use of materials and manufacturing techniques, and learn how to successfully balance design and functionality with sophisticated aesthetics; organized visits to Italian companies also provide first-hand experience of design and accessories manufacturing.

Participants learn to design and create collections related to the concept of "decorative" luxury through the study of the most important international trends. Students also develop their research skills and become competent in presenting their ideas through the most advanced digital software without ever neglecting the physical aspect of a project.
