Students will learn how to design, commission and test complex industrial control systems. A final Honours year is embedded in this degree, allowing students to apply everything they learn in their first three years of study. Students could apply for the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology and transfer across to this engineering major at the end of their first year of study. Students can also combine this course with a second electrical engineering major (Renewable Energy Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or Instrumentation and Control), to graduate with a double major and expand their expertise and career prospects.
