Throughout this double degree students will build their skills and knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor control and sport and exercise psychology, along with the broad theoretical and practical knowledge of psychology. Students will develop job-ready skills in analysis, writing, research, communication, and teamwork, and competency in prescribing exercise, assessing and improving the movement of athletes and the general population. This double degree incorporates an industry placement which is taken in the third year. From this combined degree, students can progress through further study to become registered Sport and Exercise Psychologists. This course is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and Exercise Science Australia. Graduates will be eligible to register with Exercise and Sports Science Australia as an Accredited Exercise Scientist.
