With a growing global emphasis on human sustainability issues, the United Nations and other international organizations have initiated numerous projects requiring active corporate engagement. As part of the international community, corporate leaders are anticipated to proactively or reactively collaborate with these global initiatives. Giving the evolving nature of these developing core competencies in corporate leaders is vital. These include a dedication to human sustainability, a thorough understanding of humanities and environmental issues, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
