Taiwan aims for net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, necessitating a significant reduction in fossil fuels, an increase in renewable energy, control of energy consumption growth, and improved energy efficiency across all sectors to maximize energy savings. This program focuses on the development and management of green energy systems such as energy storage, hydrogen energy, and biomass energy, integrating interdisciplinary technologies from electrical engineering, computer science, communications, energy materials, earth sciences, and the sustainable energy market. Its goal is to cultivate future professionals in sustainable green energy technology and provide effective solutions for the future needs of the green energy industry.
