With the rapid development of the Chinese-speaking economic sphere and its quick integration with the world, the demand for improved public governance capabilities among government officials and senior managers of enterprises and institutions is increasing. To meet the learning needs of mid-to-senior level leaders and managers in Chinese-speaking regions and to enhance inter-regional exchange, the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore (NUS) established the Master in Public Administration and Management (MPAM) degree program, taught in Chinese. This program cultivates high-level talent in public administration and business management, equipping them with the ability to fulfill key positions in governments at all levels, enterprises and institutions, and even on the international stage. The MPAM program received the Business in China Enterprise Award from His Excellency Lee Hsien Loong, former Prime Minister of Singapore, in 2019. Currently, the program has over 60 students from Singapore, mainland China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, and other regions. Graduates will be awarded a Master of Public Administration and Management degree from the National University of Singapore.
With the rapid expanding economies of Chinese-speaking regions and their rapid integration with the rest of the world, there is a significant and growing need for public administration education among government officials, public institutions and enterprise executives from those emerging economies. To meet this demand and to reach a larger constituency while facilitating regional exchanges, the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy introduced a Master in Public Administration and Management (MPAM) programme conducted in Mandarin.
The MPAM programme equips graduates to perform effectively across a wide range of public service fields at all levels of government, in public institutions, the private sector, and the international arena. Currently, the programme has over 60 students enrolled in each cohort from Singapore, mainland China, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Thailand. Graduates will receive a Master of Public Administration and Management (MPAM) degree conferred by the National University of Singapore.
