The Master of Science in Safety, Health and Environmental Technology (SHE) is an interdisciplinary programme emphasises the combination of theoretical knowledge, application of Safety, Health and Environment concepts, and strategic thinking. This programme is designed to equip students with the essential postgraduate-level knowledge and skill progression to:
- Manage specific occupational hazards
- Understand the philosophies, approaches, and good practices of workplace SHE issues
- Understand the overarching requirements of SHE-related industries
- Acquire advanced knowledge and skillsets at the management, advisory, and consultant levels
- Solving real-world SHE challenges through hands-on exercises, case studies, and industrial attachments/visits
With this specialised competence, the programme develops graduates to be Future-Ready SHE Leaders, Advanced Practitioners, and Professionals in SHE Management.
The curriculum is taught by established Industry Practitioners, Professional Engineers, Specialist SHE researchers, Senior Management of Companies, and Regulatory Representatives. This provides different perspectives and opens up many future-oriented possibilities for graduates in the following professional industries and sectors:
