Deepen knowledge in the field of risk prevention and management, for the construction of risk scenarios, resilience and territorial planning, promote a culture of prevention and risk reduction, that apply research to develop resilience, that establish public policies to address adverse events, to implement programs and projects to reduce the impact of risk, to generate transformation of risk conditions that cause loss or damage, application of knowledge, procedural methodologies with the use of ICT and technical tools. With this profile of human training, the disaster risk professional will promote the socio-organizational strengthening and empowerment of comprehensive emergency management, based on sustainability, including anthropological and pedagogical considerations, for training, self-training and axiological management, from and towards society. Under these principles, learning achievements are promoted that contribute to efficient performance in the field of care in times of crisis, incidentally governed by relevance, bio-awareness, empowerment and conscious participation.

Admission Requirements
The Risk Prevention and Management Program is appropriate for those professionals committed to enhancing knowledge to analyze the relationship between science, technology and nature in the field of risks, as well as developing skills to do research. In this sense it is recommended: Possess a third-level degree, duly registered by the governing body of higher education public policy and comply with the admission process established in the program to which you are applying; and Others. Preferably for professionals in the field of Services who certify two (2) years of certified work experience in public or private service and / or university teaching.
