The main purpose of the career is the training of teachers in the area of teaching the English language, trained to design, analyze, guide, and evaluate methods and means of teaching-learning and educational evaluation; With an optimal command of the English language, it encourages the use of the English language as a communication and internationalization tool. The professional may perform in different roles: teacher, facilitator, tutor, academic coordinator, trainer or advisor at different levels of elementary, basic and high school education. Graduate profile includes: Working in teams and academic networks with the management of transparent, honest, technical and respectful actions towards cultural diversity and gender that strengthen interpersonal skills to consolidate their personal values; Critically analyze the paradigms, methods, processes and languages of education and research for the contextualized application of models, protocols, solution of educational problems and decision-making in curriculum development; Applying analytical-critical criteria the principles of educational sciences in solving problems and tensions of the profession and in the development of projects, models and materials with the support of technology and integration into transdisciplinary networks; and Managing action research to improve their teaching activity and actively participate in solving problems in the educational community.

Admission Requirements
All required documents (in digital copy; pdf format) are to be submitted to the university. Applicants to enter the National and Foreign Language Pedagogy Career in virtual mode must meet the following entry profile: Graduates in general who have a vocation in teaching with a minimum level of the English language of A1 + with reference to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages, in addition to the characteristics of the profile of the Ecuadorian bachelor established by the Ministry of Education.
