General objective: To train professionals with scientific and technological knowledge, humanistic and ethical behavior, critical capacity and social responsibility through a comprehensive and dynamic teaching that guarantees an effective and efficient service in the promotion, prevention, rehabilitation, maintenance, intervention and treatment of people. with disability or risk of developing it. Students upon graduating will be able to provide health through a non-pharmacological therapeutic alternative, whose main purpose is the promotion of health and function, including the generation and application of scientific principles in the process of evaluation, diagnosis and functional prognosis and physiotherapeutic intervention, to prevent or remedy functional limitations and movement-related disabilities; incorporating the person, once rehabilitated, to daily life, restoring their independence and autonomy.
