Special Education

We train professionals in education with excellence for the care of children (from initial education) to adolescents and young people with special educational needs associated or not with disability, in educational, general and specialized education, supported by a biopsychosocial model , with approaches: preventive, interdisciplinary, inclusive, capable of achieving the development of competencies for analysis, scientific inquiry, design, implementation, monitoring and systematization of psychopedagogical processes that provide innovative responses to the high educational demands of the region. The Special Education career is based on humanistic principles aimed at inclusive education, which, based on scientific research, contribute to the building of a more just and caring society, guarantor of the educational inclusion of people with special educational needs in favor of social and cultural development of the country.
