The double Master's degree in Economics and Sociology involves pursuing two tracks simultaneously, each primarily within the same discipline. These tracks overlap in their focus on behavioral analysis, the complementarity of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and both within the digital realm. Graduates of this double Master's program will therefore possess a broad range of skills, preparing them for the job market.

The CODEEN track (Behaviors and Economic Decisions in the Digital Age) offers training centered on the analysis and prediction of individual behaviors, combined with an introduction to the key challenges posed by digital technology to economic and social relations. This program lies at the intersection of economics, behavioral science, and digital technologies, aiming to train decision scientists with a rigorous theoretical foundation in behavioral economics, capable of independently conducting experimental and interventional protocols from design to data analysis.

Throughout the program – and in addition to the core competencies focused on analysis, behavioral prediction, and the design of intervention protocols – students will take courses covering various fields of application (finance, social networks, professional relationships, etc.) to familiarize them with different sectors and facilitate their professional integration upon graduation. Furthermore, each semester they will be required to take at least one minor course offered by the Graduate School of Economics and Management to strengthen their skills in areas of their choice (quantitative techniques, economic theory, methodology and history, professional skills, etc.).

As for the CESUN track(Sociological and Digital Technology Studies Officer), this program aims to train specialists in social science methodologies (interviews, observations, focus groups, statistical analysis, etc.). Graduates work in research firms, observatories, or specialized institutes. The methodologies taught are considered in light of their recent developments (particularly the ever-increasing digitization of data). In addition, this training allows students to grasp the changes brought about by the proliferation of digital technologies in all spheres of society, with a particular focus on the fields of work and health. Within these fields, the issue of the role given to uses and users is analyzed, which corresponds to the emerging profession of "user researcher." The program also helps students learn how to respond to research requests, whether for planned changes or more experimental approaches (for evaluations, the production of social impact indicators, etc.). The specific feature of this course is finally to train students in the management of projects involving the deployment of digital devices, in all its phases (requirements gathering, monitoring and communication, facilitation, evaluation, readjustment), which corresponds to the jobs of project managers in the digital field and facilitators of online communities.
