The Physiopathology and Pharmacology course is aimed at students who wish to move towards basic or applied research in the field of health and clinical research. The course aims to train future scientists and physicians in research and health and to prepare them for further doctoral studies. The Physiopathology and Pharmacology course benefits from a strong anchoring of the training in the research environment of the Nice region through the participation of researchers and teacher-researchers in the teaching provided, thus making it possible to be as close as possible to advances technological and scientific.
The courses offered will enable students to acquire skills inintegrated physiology (from the molecular to the organism), in physiopathology, in immunology, in metabolism and in nutrition, in new therapeutic approaches and in pharmacology. Teaching is provided by lecturer-researchers and researchers, as well as university professors and university lecturers-hospital practitioner of the faculty of medicine.
The Physiopathology and Pharmacology course offers students strong disciplinary teaching in the fields of physiopathology and pharmacology. Students also have the possibility of refining their pedagogical course according to their scientific interests by choosing a teaching unit from all those offered by the Life Sciences Master's in addition to the specific lessons of each course. The theoretical lessons are supplemented by additional practical training thanks to the completion of two long compulsory internships in laboratories during the two years of the master's degree.
