This course would like to address related problems such as: Can we end world poverty by 2030? How can we ensure our cities are safe? How can we tackle the effects of climate change on our world? Today, economic growth and business expansion must answer to critical concerns about environmental sustainability, biodiversity loss, and human exploitation. Businesses are increasingly being pressured to consider the micro and macro implications of sustainable environmental practices, gender equality, and distribution of profit. Students will discuss these issues and consider how they might be reconciled with modern business operations. The current problems of sustainability will be discussed from many different perspectives, understand their complexity and learn to use a variety of approaches to think creatively about potential solutions.
