Objective of the programme To train professionals from the public sector and civil society in the regions of southern Chile in public health concepts and policies, epidemiology, and research and intervention methodologies that are applicable in the field of community health at regional and local levels.
To ensure that participants:
Know theories and concepts related to Public Health and Development, as well as conditioning elements associated with the environmental, socio-political and economic territorial context. Manage methodologies for the integral analysis (epidemiological, environmental, socio-economic and socio-cultural) of public health and local development problems. Incorporate competences for applied research, enabling them to produce knowledge and propose solutions to public health problems in local and regional territorial spheres.

Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements Professional Degree and/or Academic Degree in, or have a Professional University Degree in any discipline of the Health, Human, Social, Education, Health Sciences, or other related discipline, awarded by a national or foreign university in an officially recognised programme in Chile.
