The Program leads to a Master's Degree in Natural Resources Management and is aimed at professionals who hold a Bachelor's Degree, linked to the area of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences, Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities or other areas of knowledge that in their professional performance are linked or have been linked to problems related to the program.

Objectives


To train competent professionals for the evaluation, analysis and management of systems that involve the use and exploitation of natural resources, with a focus on sustainability (economic, ecological, environmental, sociocultural).


In relation to the above, the following specific objectives are distinguished:


To incorporate and integrate scientific knowledge and methodological-technological tools in the analysis and management of systems based on renewable natural resources.

To increase critical reasoning and working capacities from multidisciplinary perspectives, in order to participate in the development of technically adequate, economically viable and socioculturally pertinent solutions in their professional practice.

In addition, they should be able to develop innovation and technology transfer, professional activities of greater demand and complexity, and new specialized and multidisciplinary projects.
