Objective of the Program    The Master's Program in Dentistry at the Universidad de La Frontera aims to train postgraduate professionals who have the skills to develop in the field of dental research, applying the scientific method and principles of bioethics, to participate in the development and management of clinical or experimental research, disseminating their results through publication in indexed journals.
 
Specific Objectives To develop skills and strategies of operation in clinical or experimental research in lines proposed by the program. To provide the student with tools to make adequate and pertinent decisions considering ethical and bioethical aspects, applying current research regulations. Develop skills to write and communicate research results in indexed journals. Promote instances of writing research projects to obtain and manage resources in research and scientific publication.

Admission Requirements

Requirements and Admission Profile To enter the Master's Program in Dentistry, the applicant must have a professional degree in Dental Surgery or equivalent, or a bachelor's degree in dentistry or equivalent, or a bachelor's degree in another related discipline with a minimum duration of 8 academic semesters. Demonstrates motivation for research and development of scientific knowledge. In addition, he/she has a basic level in reading comprehension and listening in English, and a user level in basic computer tools and internet search.
Application Documents Application Form. Curriculum Vitae. Application form stating your intention to join the Program. List of publications, presentations at conferences, research projects. Description of real possibilities for internships. Original certificate or legalized copy of Bachelor's Degree or Professional Title. Original certificate or legalized copy of Postgraduate or Postgraduate degree, if any. Original certificate or legalized photocopy of the corresponding grade concentration. Two letters of reference, at least one of which must be from an academic of the University from which he/she graduated, or from the University or Institution where he/she currently works. Certificate of no debts in undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate programs at Universidad de La Frontera.
In addition to the presentation of their background, applicants must complete the following activities during the application process:
Personal interview Diagnostic tests (Basic Theoretical Content, English, Basic Computer Skills and Psychological Evaluation).
