The Middle Childhood Education level certification program will prepare students to teach grades 4-8 with a specialization in English/Language Arts, Math, Science, or Social Studies. The English/Language Arts certification will allow teachers to teach all general subjects in grades 4-6 and to be the teacher of record for English/Language Arts in grades 7 and 8. The Math certification will allow teachers to teach all general subjects in grades 4-6 and to be the teacher of record for Math in grades 7 and 8. The Science certification will allow teachers to teach all general subjects in grades 4-6 and to be the teacher of record for Science in grades 7 and 8.
