This Master of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences gives students the integrated, broad-based research training needed to exploit current advances in multidisciplinary areas of pharmaceutical sciences. Bachelor of Pharmacy graduates have the option to complete their Provisionally Registered Pharmacist (PRP) training in taylor's University while concurrently can enrol in the MPhil programme under the supervision of an experienced preceptor who is recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia. Bachelor of Pharmacy graduates who wish to obtain a Master degree and complete their Provisionally Registered Pharmacist (PRP) training concurrently.  Students are required to pass the Research Methodology modules (6 credit hours) in the first year of their candidature.

Fulfilling one of the requirements listed below:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Tier 1): Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or relevant science discipline with min. CGPA of 2.75 as accepted by the Senate; OR
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Tier 2): Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or relevant science discipline with CGPA min. 2.50 but less than 2.75 can be accepted subjected to a minimum of 2 years working experience in relevant field.
International Students

IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 60 (Internet Based Test) (May join IEN preparatory course and achieve the IELTS score) The validity of the IELTS or equivalent is within 2 years from the date of the examination.
