The goal of the program is to prepare a highly qualified political science researcher who, based on knowledge of the subfields of political science, including the main trends in the development of political thought and ideologies, and research methods, will be able to create new knowledge by analyzing political processes as a social phenomenon, establishing regularities and patterns, which will have both scientific and practical application value. The goal of the program is also to develop in the graduate, on the one hand, the ability to plan and conduct lecture courses, and on the other hand, the skills to independently plan and conduct research, which serves to expand the epistemic theme in the field of political science by promoting liberal-humanistic values ​​and the principles of a democratic society.
A Doctor of Political Science will be able to find employment in research and scientific institutions and organizations, state and private agencies, and higher educational institutions in academic positions.
