The goal of the bachelor's program in psychology is to prepare psychologists with a broad profile, providing them with knowledge in the main areas of scientific psychology; basic mental processes and their characteristic regularities; stages of human mental development and their peculiarities, regularities of interpersonal and intergroup relations existing in social reality; The essence of personality and the theories surrounding its research, about the appropriateness of human behavior according to the general psychological theory of attitude; In addition, - they will be able to apply the general principles of research production within the framework of professional ethics, to select research features and specific methods, to plan, conduct, and process and analyze real empirical research.

Graduates of the program will be able to be employed as a psychologist-assistant and assistant psychologist in the fields such as human resources management services of any state and private organization (banks, corporations, ministries, pharmacy chains, store chains), kindergartens and schools, training centers, research organizations, services of psychological consultants of educational institutions, counseling and rehabilitation centers and clinics for children and adults.

Admission Requirements

Enrollment of students at the first level of academic higher education (undergraduate programs) is conducted based on the results of unified national exams or the order of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia No. 224/N (December 29, 2011), passing administrative registration and the order of the presidents. The goal of the program is to train highly competent psychologists whose knowledge is based on liberal-humanistic values, equipping them to achieve success through honest work.
