The program’s objective is to cultivate highly qualified specialists in the field of economics - "Law and Economics", encompassing the economic analysis of legal issues. Graduates of the program will be able to assess the economic impact of regulations and present the obtained results to relevant parties in an argumentative manner.
This entails acquiring profound and systematic knowledge and critical understanding of economic policy, theory, decision-making; the capacity to analyze complex problems inherent in the multidisciplinary domain of "Law and Economics" through independent research, as well as developing original ways for resolving these problems; the capability to autonomously deepen knowledge as necessary.
This will enable graduates to pursue positions at universities, research institutes, non-governmental organizations, the public sector, and prominent corporations where effective functioning requires continual research activities (e.g., banks, insurance, and consulting companies).
In these professional activities, graduates of the program contribute to obtaining effective solutions amidst economic changes in both public and private sectors.
Moreover, research skills developed through the program will enable graduates to pursue further studies at the doctoral level.
