The program aims to prepare journalists with liberal-humanistic values ​​and, in doing so, contribute to the democratic development of society, the well-being of the Georgian nation and humanity. The Bachelor of Journalism program will teach students practical and professional skills based on the foundations of traditional American and European journalism. The program aims to develop in graduates the ability to find information using various sources and methods, the ability to create multimedia products, the ability to report on various issues, both online and in print, as well as for television and radio, the ability to plan and produce journalistic investigations, and the ability to create photo reports and documentaries. The areas of employment for graduates of the Bachelor of Journalism program can be considered online, print and electronic (newspaper, radio, agency, television company, magazine) media companies in Georgia and abroad. They will also be able to find employment in any private or government structure, international or non-governmental organization, and media relations service.

Admission Requirements


Enrollment of students at the first level of academic higher education (undergraduate programs) is carried out based on the results of unified national exams or the order of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia No. 224/N (December 29, 2011) after passing administrative registration and the order of the presidents.
