Our physical education and sport extended degree course starts with a foundation year to prepare you for degree-level study. After your first year, you will study the same modules as on our three-year course. You will learn the principles of teaching and coaching, giving you the opportunity to flourish in your chosen specialism of athletics, gymnastics, swimming, dance or games. The course is taught at Avery Hill Campus, home to our extensive sports facilities and where most of our student sports take place. Physical education placements form an integral part of this degree and our strong partnership with Charlton Athletic FC provides students with internship and employment opportunities.
