You will also be introduced to modern developments within counselling practice and learn how to counsel those experiencing distress due to mental health issues, trauma or life transitions such as bereavement. Our well-equipped laboratories and other facilities will support your studies. The programme is accredited by the British Psychological Society. In order to become a chartered psychologist, you will need Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership. To be eligible, you must pass your final-year research project and graduate with at least lower second class honours.
