The undergraduate degree in Artistic, Library’s, and Performing Arts Heritage focuses on the protection, promotion, and enhancement of cultural heritage – a mosaic of tangible and intangible cultural and creative expressions. This degree is divided into three areas of study related to the main aspects of cultural heritage: figurative arts, books, and performing arts. These three areas of study give students the opportunity to deepen their specific interests while still obtaining transversal and interdisciplinary training. Overlapping disciplines in the three areas of study enable transition from one area to the other even after the first year of coursework. A series of core courses (Italian language and literature, historical studies, ancient and medieval civilizations, and geography) establishes an overarching frame of reference from which students choose electives related to each area of study: art history from the Middle Ages to the contemporary, the history of theatre and cinema, music, and publishing. Additional elective courses, focused on specific issues related to the management, conservation, and promotion of cultural heritage, from legislation to conservation, complete the transdisciplinary program. Finally, a curricular internship offers students the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills acquired during the degree program. Experiences abroad also support the option of obtaining linguistic qualification beginning in the first year of coursework.

Graduates will be able to work within public and private institutions responsible for the conservation, protection, and enhancement of cultural heritage, the organization of exhibitions, conferences, and local cultural itineraries. Graduates will also be able to integrate into the workplace for the management and enhancement of the performing arts.

The teaching program makes use of a blended methodology, integrating in-person classes and remote teaching. More specifically, the degree program enhances a technological environment aimed at the production of didactic materials in e-learning and the integration of didactic activities in synchronous and in asynchronous mode with traditional lessons.

The training course is carried out in-person at 100% of the total hours of the course including the possibility of e-learning mode at 30% of the total number of hours. The course also makes use of a technological and disciplinary tutoring service.
