During the course, you will: - acquire core knowledge of coastal and marine processes to characterise and forecast coastal, ocean, and seafloor behaviour - design adaptive and resilient coastal and marine infrastructure for erosion and flood management and renewable energy provision - develop strong analytical and numerical skills for data collection, analysis and visualisation - advance your ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams to implement solutions adaptive to environmental and engineering challenges.
You'll study at our Highfield and Bolderwood Campuses and our Waterfront Campus, the National Oceanography Centre Southampton (NOCS), one of the world's largest centres for marine education and research. You'll have access to our research vessel, the R.V. Callista, and cutting-edge technology and facilities that will help you to develop and broaden your skills and knowledge.
