Vision: The vision of Department of Pharmacology is to make the medical students familiar with the knowledge and theoretical concepts about drugs and treatments from one side, and with good practical expertise in this field from the other side, which would entitle them to use drugs, describing it as the best and allowing them to specialize in this science in the future.
Mission: The mission of department of pharmacology is to prepare good doctors in the field of the use of medications and treatments properly and up to date scientific development made in this area as well as the graduation of graduate students (MS) in medicines and treatments, carrying information in their field of specialization which qualifies them to work with confidence.
Goals: The branch aims to teach students in the third stage parameters and scientific expertise of medicines and treatments, which include extensive knowledge about medicines, their groups and uses and their mechanisms of action in addition to their interaction with other medications used by the same patient at same time. In addition to their complications and its effects on various organs of the body in preparation for the knowledge that will be added to them in other clinical sections on the various diseases to enable the student (doctor in the future) to describe the correct treatment of the patient. Divide students into subgroups and try to deliver the greatest possible number of information does not in an empty fillers manner but in a modern scientific way.

Admission Requirements
Adopting the admission requirements for students in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (central admission).
Approval of the personal interview for the students by the Dean of the College and the assistants.
To be fit for a medical examination.
Student average in high school.
