Dentistry

The  College of Dentistry  was established in the academic year 1992-1993 to join the colleges of University of Anbar in the academic year 1993-1994. The first graduates were graduated in the academic year 1997-1998 including 18 dentists and the scholarship continued and the scientific process was relegated to the graduates of the bachelor's degree despite the conditions that plagued the governorate.

The College of Dentistry is located in the center of the city of Ramadi overlooking the Euphrates River and near the Ramadi Teaching Hospital and a large building area of the building of the current college in shape of (H) with two new building under final finishing stages; The first for the Deanship, new classrooms, scientific and administrative divisions and units belonged to dean and his assistants. The second building consists of the basic sciences branch in its classrooms and its educational laboratories in the first stages of the college.

The college adopts the English language and includes many specialized branches in dentistry such as dental treatment Dental and prosthetic surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, gum disease, dental surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, dental care, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, oral medicine, community medicine and taj. And the basic principles of biology, physics, chemistry and biochemistry as part of the requirements of the bachelor's degree. The Faculty of Dentistry seeks to expand the academic and open graduate studies in several areas of specialization in the future.
