Vision: Enhancing the educational process via its sections in language, literature and linguistics, the Department of English Language aims to support the community with graduates who are well equipped with highly-improved skills and experiences for heading into the diverse fields of professionalism needed for making any possible contribution, specifically, in the area of teaching English as a foreign language by the use of modern trends and technology.
Mission: Promoting the university's thrive to a better position locally and internationally, the department's basic mission is to work with a modern academic strategy, depending on the best techniques in teaching English around the world, which would guarantee a better result and the success of the new methods in creative teaching of the basic sections of language, literature and linguistics. The department attempts to provide the students with a chance to develop their language skills, mainly listening, reading, writing and speaking that would bring about proper teaching and communicating capabilities, as well as a place in today's world where English is used massively for communication and particularly within social media platforms which they might use for academic motivations as well.

Admission Requirements
- Adopting the admission requirements for students in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (central admission).
- Approval of the personal interview for the students by the Dean of the College and the assistants.
- To be fit for a medical examination.
- Student average in high school.
